The only thing I can think of is the thickness. The eckbaken is 2.8mm thick. Great motors on this E7, and holds almost 300lbs. And it's super simple even if you aren't handy. You just screw the legs onto the center of the frame and screw it all into the desktop. Took me maybe half an hour to put it together.

I decided to get the alex drawers and then get a solid birch butcher block from home depot and finish it myself.
